First, Follow Through U will provide kids free access to the JumpShot app.The JumpShot app will teach kids ages 10+ how to shoot a basketball in just 4 steps. These are the same 4 Steps that Coach Beez has used with all his clients the past 18 years. The content is easy to understand, but will require a lot of discipline, a lot of hard work, and a lot of patience. Secondly, Follow Through U will also provide remote video-based learning to support kids along their journey to becoming more consistent shooters. Our coaching staff will be there to assist every young athlete while they rebuild their mechanics. This will be accomplished through remote video analysis. The process of learning how to shoot is not easy, and it will require each individual to focus, concentrate, and work hard. Each Step within the JumpShot app comes with exercises that they must complete, ensuring that they do not rush through the process. Players that want to commit to getting better, must sign a contract promising to FOLLOW THROUGH and complete the 4 Steps.
Coach Beez knew that there were so many more kids in the U.S. and around the world that didn’t have these same opportunities, and that could really benefit from his shooting program.
The beauty of Follow Through U’s remote program is that our team of experts can help players regardless of where they live. Since all of our remote training is done via the JumpShot app and our video-based shooting analysis, we do not need to be present at specific locations and the athlete does not have to be somewhere at a certain time of the day. Athletes can study each Step in the JumpShot app and submit videos of themselves performing the exercises. Our Follow Through U coaching staff will analyze and edit each player’s video submissions, giving constructive feedback and directing them on how to proceed.
“ Yes!! Shooting practice and building those skills definitely helped me in life. To be honest, I think the biggest thing that it taught me was how to work hard and stay focused if you really want to improve. Before I met you I was not a good shooter at all, and I was not confident that being able to shoot could be a reliable scoring option for me. But after working with you, I saw a lot of improvement in my shot which gave me a lot more self confidence. As silly as it sounds, I also think a big lesson was learning how to be resilient even when it wasn't my best shooting day. I think that taught me that when life doesn’t go your way, you can't give up or be too hard on yourself. That helped me a lot in college, and even now throughout the job recruiting process. It is so competitive to find a job opportunity at certain companies. All of those skills, like resilience and building confidence, has helped remind me to just continuously do what I can to put myself in a position to succeed, and keep working at it, even if it doesn't go my way. “
Player September 2024At Follow Through U we have put together a group of people who share a common goal. That goal is to help kids believe that they themselves are capable.

“ Middle school for our daughter included a year of online classes, three years of mask mandates, far too much time online, and extended periods of isolation. As a result, we watched our once outgoing, happy-go-lucky, social butterfly become an anxious, reclusive, depressed, and unmotivated adolescent. We encouraged physical activity and opportunities to be around friends, but all her experiences were overshadowed by insecurity.
Parent August 2024When she enrolled in our local public high school, we all agreed it was time for a change. She needed to play sports. She hoped joining a team would help her find friends on a big campus. Our daughter is tall, so we encouraged her to go out for the girls’ basketball team. And because she hadn’t played any competitive sports in several years, we helped her work on the skills necessary to make the team by enlisting Coach Beez’s expertise in skill development.
Over the course of six months, we watched as our daughter first made the frosh/soph team, then worked her way up to JV early on in league play. She even played in several Varsity games during the spring season of her freshman year. When she returned to school in August, she was eager to see her teammates and prepare for the next year’s tryouts.
As her parent, I'm most grateful for how developing basketball skills has helped our daughter regain her self-confidence and build friendships with dozens of hardworking student athletes. She has become even more disciplined about her schoolwork and time management, balancing practices and games with a tough academic workload. And she has developed a can-do attitude in all areas of her life. Watching the shy, anxious, reclusive traits fade away to be replaced by a strong, proud individual who knows she can accomplish anything, is priceless. It has made every extra training session worthwhile.
We can’t thank Coach Beez enough for how instrumental his training has been in all these positive developments in our daughter’s high school experience. “
